explosive jazz
went to a club last night for a big charity jazz event ("seone" - or was it SE one?). very mixed quality performance - a few painful renditions of elton john (don't remember elton writing jazz), but also a few gems. rounded off by the explosive sounds of sam chaplin and the jazzbomb. lots of fun was had by all. also saw pablo (ow), which was a little freaky.

Sorry to have missed this (except the bad Elton John renditions - or indeed any EJ renditions!)
However, am now closer to recovering from getting up at 5am for early service on Easter Sunday after losing an hour's sleep!
I'll sacrifice the odd couple of hours' sleep for the risen saviour, but sadly not for the lovely Sam Chaplin!

hello carey - great to know someone checks my blog... it was fantastic to see Sam Chaplin - well worth sacrificing sleep over - but then I didn't have to go to work the next day.
