bright and breezy

i went to jon's play again last night, but the second play (children of hercules) was rained off. the heavens opened, and it rained all night. i woke up this morning and it was still raining - not a good day for a picnic in brighton. still, stee and karen are only in the uk for a couple more days, so i braved the weather and headed for the train. as we stepped off the train and out of the station, we were greeted by beautiful sunshine!

i enjoyed the walk back to the station along the seafront. i can really see the appeal of living by the sea. the walk turned into a jog, and finally a full blown sprint as i realised i only had a couple of minutes to catch my train.
