birthing pool
carey, bump and i went for a swim today! we had the wimbledon college pool to ourselves, which was really nice. carey is on maternity leave - and she chose to spend the first day with me! i am so excited about little baby radcliffe. we spent rather a long time talking about labour - carey is remarkably philosophical about it - or maybe that's just to hide the terror underneath? she knows that i - or mike for that matter- would do anything for her, but we can't give birth to this baby.

Thanks for the swimming & smoothies!
Had a midwife check-up today and she couldn't find the baby's head!!
She was a bit concerned that it might be fully engaged - ready to come out!
But in the end, she decided the head isn't engaged at all, but it's right at the back, which is why she couldn't feel it!

couldn't find the baby's head huh? how big is your womb anyway? or maybe she's not really a midwife.... isn't the head at the other end from the feet?
