battersea barge

so i met up with jon, clara, barry and helen last night. it was so lovely to see them. we went to a restaurant called "the battersea barge", which (as its name suggests) is a barge on the thames - moored opposite jon and clara's apartment.

what we didn't realise is that the first thursday of the month is a talent show. well, less of the talent, more of a show. in many ways it was hilarious - some of the acts were excruciatingly poor. and it did give us a talking point.

not sure we'll be going back though.
