just returned from a weekend in germany with the british forces overseas. or more accurately with my friend james who is a teacher in a secondary school on a british army base in germany. we had such a fantastic time. the weather was unbelievably good - perfect for a lazy afternoon in the garden with james, sarah and their two boys matthew and daniel. perfect also for a bike ride across the fields and a walk in the woods.

teesh and i had a great time laughing with sarah and james, getting kisses and cuddles from matthew and james (very discerning, even at their young ages) and being introduced to the rhinelands. we even went into holland for a few hours.
